Fabio Capello blasts linesman Mauricio Espinosa

June 27, 2010 - South Africa - Football - Germany v England FIFA World Cup Second Round - South Africa 2010 - Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein, South Africa - 27/6/10..England team ambassador David Beckham (R) talks with Referee Jorge Larrionda (C) at half time.
The Uruguayan official denied a goal by Frank Lampard, which took place as England were lagging behind by 2-1.

Replays, however, showed that it clearly crossed the line.

In the end, England were defeated by 4-1 but Capello insisted things would have been different if Lampard's goal had been allowed.

Capello said: "It was one of the most important things in the game."

"The goal was very important. We could have played a different style."

"We played I think well at 2-1, but after the third goal it was a little bit disappointing."

"We played well. Germany is a big team. They played a good game. We made some mistakes when they played the counter-attack."

"The referee made bigger mistakes. Little things decide the result always."
