Manchester City Interested In Inter-Owned David Suazo
Sport.co.uk reports that Manchester City have joined the ranks of clubs looking to sign David Suazo. Inter-owned striker David Suazo, who was loaned out to Benfica this season, is expected to part ways with Nerazzurri during the summer months.
With the forward's services looking more likely to be up for grabs, Manchester City have reportedly joined the queue of teams looking to secure the player's signature.
The 29-year-old has been linked with moves to Everton, Newcastle, and Aston Villa among others, with Atletico Madrid also rumoured to be monitoring the striker's progress.
Manchester City will face the stiff competition of those mentioned along with the admission made by Suazo's agent that he would prefer a move to the Spanish Liga.
"The future of Suazo is not in Italy or England, but in Spain," said Giovanni Branchini.
"Many clubs have already initiated contact to get reports on the player."
