Louis Saha Hopeful Of Signing Contract Extension At Everton

Louis Saha has revealed the he would like to sign a fresh contract with Premier League outfit Everton.
The 30-year-old moved to Goodison Park from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee in 2008, signing a two-year pay-as-you-play deal.
Injuries restricted the 6ft 1in forward to just 14 starts for the Toffees, and 29 appearances overall, during which time he scored eight goals.
The 18-time capped France international scored the fastest ever goal in an FA Cup final last Saturday to give the Merseyside outfit an early advantage over Chelsea.
However, Everton eventually lost 2-1 to the Blues, and Saha is hoping that a wasted opportunity with the scores tied at 1-1 will not have affected his chances of inking a new deal with the club.
"I wish I had hit the target but it wasn't to be," Saha is quoted as saying by The Daily Mirror.
"I'll have to move on from that and hope I can prove I'm worth a long stay with Everton."
