Udinese Can Reach Europa League

The Neapolitan striker insists the Friulans will fight to the very end to book a place in Europe...
Udinese defeated Milan 2-1 last night to move to within three points of sixth-placed Roma with just two games left to play and striker Antonio Floro Flores believes they can further stretch their six-game winning streak to leapfrog the Giallorossi and qualify for next season’s Europa League.
“We believe in it, but must not look at other teams’ results,” he said to Sport Mediaset.
“We just have to keep playing this way. We deserved to win against Milan and I dedicate the victory to the fans, the club and all my team-mates.
“I am happy that I have been playing more regularly this term and my performances have improved, even though it’s not easy to play all these games at the highest level.”
Udinese took the lead through Gaetano D’Agostino when they were awarded a debatable spot-kick for a Paolo Maldini’s foul on Floro Flores, but he insisted, “I did not dive.”
Udinese travel to Sampdoria next week before welcoming Cagliari to the Stadio Friuli on the last day of the season.
