Porto Defender Aly Cissokho Attracts Bayern Munich Interest

The German outfit are reportedly interested in signing the youngster this summer...
Right-backs Massimo Oddo and Christian Lell have been far from impressive for Bayern Munich this campaign and it's not a big secret that the Bavarians are in the market for a new full-back.



According to Kicker, the reigning Bundesliga title holders have now set their sights on highly-rated left-back Aly Cissokho. The French youngster currently plays for Portuguese powerhouse Porto.

The 21-year-old signed for his current club from Vitoria Setubal last winter for a reputed fee of €300,000 and quickly developed into an important first-team member at Porto.

Cissokho impressed scouts from all over the world with his outstanding performance in the Champions League match against Manchester United when he faced superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bayern Munich face stiff competition for the young defender's signature though. Cissokho is also being linked with Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.

His current Porto deal expires in 2013, meaning that Porto probably won't let go of him on the cheap.
