Federico Macheda Kicked Out Of Manchester United Title Party!

The teenager will have to wait before he can get his hands on the champagne...

Manchester United’s teenage striker Federico Macheda reportedly had to miss out on the club’s title celebrations after he was thrown out of a nightclub due to his age.

The News of the World claims that the 17-year-old was forced to leave the Living Room in Manchester and take a taxi home whilst his team-mates continued their celebrations.

As part of the first-team squad at Old Trafford, Macheda joined in the title party at yesterday but missed out on claiming a medal, having only made three Premier League appearances.

Yet the young Italian has certainly played his part in helping United claim an 18th league title.

The teenager memorably scored a dramatic late winner on his debut against Aston Villa as the Red Devils came back to win a thrilling game 3-2.

Macheda then followed this up on his next outing by netting only minutes after coming on for Dimitar Berbatov as the champions defeated Sunderland.

As a reward for his contribution this season, the News of the World reports that manager Sir Alex Ferguson is to commission special Premier League winner’s medals which he will distribute to his fringe players.

That will mean players such as Ben Foster, Wes Brown, Danny Welbeck and Macheda will all receive some silverware.

The tabloid quotes a United source as insisting the move is the manager's idea, saying, “Sir Alex is determined that the club acknowledge everybody who has played a part.”
