Vicente Del Bosque Sees Poland As Ideal Preparation For Switzerland

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has declared that tonight's friendly against Poland in Murcia will be good preparation for la Furia Roja's first World Cup tie against Switzerland on June 16.

The coach believes that the game against the Poles will allow his side to further improve their game ahead of the finals and he noted that while Spain do aspire to win the World Cup, it will be difficult to get there.
"We are in the final part of the preparation. The game is not an examination but is further evidence of that preparation. Poland deserves respect, but we are more interested in the way we play," he said according to AS.

"It will be similar because it is our obligation to be in shape for that first game [against Switzerland], but talking about who starts and who doesn't would be costly for me, any of the 23 who are here could start.

"Poland will be very similar to what we find on [June] 16 against Switzerland. Both the opponent and the atmosphere and we must exploit that further to improve things in our game.

"We are aspiring to the title, but we know that it is a complicated business."
