Deportivo La Coruna manager Miguel Angel Lotina was not bitter after his side's loss to Sevilla, deciding instead to pay tribute to his opponents on their performance.

Speaking at the post match press conference, Lotina said, "First of all, I want to congratulate Sevilla on finishing third."

"They deserved it, over the course of the season, and I hope they have a good campaign in the Champions League."

Lotina then turned to his own side's performance, stating, "I am not disappointed."

"We defended well and, in the second half, we could have done more damage. I am satisfied.

"We went for the win because a tie would not have helped and it didn't turn out well, although there are a couple of incidents I would like to see the replays of."

Deportivo host Barcelona next weekend in their final game of the season.
